From the exhibit, “No-Stalgia”, to my commission work, every masterpiece that has been created and sold is a milestone of my life and a part of who I am. They’re a reflection of the world that only my eyes can see. After traveling to 25+ countries in my life and studied the greatest artists along the way. I’ve committed my life to reinventing myself, my style, and my perspective as an artist. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the amazing patrons and people who have helped me get to this point in my journey. The things that i’ve been blessed with, I hope to bring back to the world that has made me who I am.Thank You & God Bless

“No-Stalgia”

Multiple painting exhibition curated in the Grunwald Gallery

(Bloomington Indiana)

NO-Stalgia is an exhibit that expresses a variety of beloved personal and shared memories that I hope to preserve and share with other people. This chapter of my life captures my experiences exploring the complex beauty of the automotive world as a diverse, expressive, and steadfast history and community built around cars.  At this intersection of automobiles and painting shows my journey of a lifetime traveling to many of the automotive and art capitals of the world and had the sensation to see some of the most beautiful paintings, performers, and cars ever made. Ever since I was nine, I knew what car I always wanted; 13 years later, it’s the Lemon I took home. Thanks to my family and community who taught me to become more independent with a wrench, screwdriver, and Bondo, I made it my little roadrunner. It will always be a work in process and any car person will tell you that, but that’s the idea, that’s the WHOLE beauty that we strive for, a cut above in our craft and practice, which is something that no one can take away in how we express it, whether it’s painting, driving, or building your own project car in the back of your garage. How anyone fell in love with automobiles is a gift of a community that’s constantly growing by the day. Whether it’s the heart beat of an engine, the whistle of a turbo, the whine of a supercharger, to drifting with elegance of a ballet dancer and to race like an olympic chariot; taking a Sunday Cruise with the people you care about or sitting out the back hatch in a drive-in theater. We have to get to point B from point A somehow, might as well enjoy it. Welcome to the Emotional Autobahn known as “NO-Stalgia”
